Height Measurements

Height measurements are required for all robes, cassocks, albs, surplices, and tunics, as well as some overlays. Have the person stand against the wall chart with their shoes on. The feet should be placed together and the back of the head should touch the chart. The height will be indicated at the point where the ruler touches the chart.

Neck Measurements

Neck measurements are required for choir, and pulpit robe styles which feature standing collars such as the Prelude, or closely fitting "jewel" necklines, such as the Rhapsody, as well as rabats, and certain overlays and tunics. Measure around the bottom of the neck, allowing enough room for comfortable head and neck movement. This size should be recorded to the nearest 1/2"

If an individual has an unusually large neck in proportion to his/her chest, record a neck measurement even if the choir is selecting a "V" necked robe.
